the concert was yesterday actually, just since it was 1:30 AM when we got back home i had to go to bed pretty much right away and then next day to school but i feel like describing it for no reason because it was SO GODDAMNED AWESOME

seriously it was the COOLEST THING EVER AAAAAAAH

almost EVERYTHING about the whole thing was awesome. even waiting in line outside the venue for 2 hours was awesome because i wasn't so bored since i was with 2 friends (whom i have now converted into fellow bucketbots) and since well it's like HOLY SHIT OTHER PEOPLE WHO LIKE BUCKETHEAD ;v; the guys behind us in line kept playing nottingham lace on their iphone like literally 8 times in a row hahaha
also also while we were waiting in line, i didn't go to see since it was waaay in the back, but my friends and my mom said there was some guy dressed up fully as buckethead with the mask and everything in the back of the line lol. and at one point everyone was like YEEEEAH IT'S BUCKETHEAD!!! and i was like HOLY SHIT WHERE so i looked around beyond the line expecting to see him. then i looked down and saw it was a tiny short kid dressed as him fhaosjd hahahaha
it wasn't so awesome when we had to wait another hour inside the venue for the opening act to start, but eh. at least since we came early we got to be like RIGHT behind the first row (there were just a couple people in front of us). but yeah after an hour the guy who was opening for buck came out, this guy called wolf, and it's safe to say he is the most awesome hardcore tuba player to ever live. he would play a riff on his tuba and be recording it on his synthesizer thing, he would distort it with pedals and the synthesizer so that it didn't sound like tuba at all anymore, and then he would play it back looping. then he would repeat until he had built up like 5 layers of riffs looping and then he would start playing the melody for real, and damn it was so cool. the first song he did was kinda trippy and freaky but the 7 other songs he played after that were awesome.

then he left the stage, and the roadies started setting stuff up for buckethead and a bunch of hip-hop songs started playing. they looked like they done after maybe 10-20 minutes or so, and so after that everyone was just kinda waiting i guess, and everytime a song would end we would all be expecting buck to come out so we were like YEEEEEEEEAH BUCKETHEEEEEAD but then another hip-hop song would come on and no buckethead. this went on unfortunately for about 45 minutes, but then they stopped playingrap and put on some disney-sounding thing or something. we were all like YEEEEEEEEEEEAH and after like 2 minutes of that

he walked onto the stage all casual-like

everybody went nuts all like YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH BUCKETHEEEEEAAAAAAAD

and i promptly soiled myself because well, holy shit it's buckethead, it's really buckethead, right there in front of you.

so then he started the show by playing night of the slunk, and he played it really awesome. right away he started doing some stunts like doing the robot with one arm and the rest of his body while still tapping guitar with his other hand and using his elastic stretchy guitar strap to hold the guitar like 3 feet in front of him and turn it around and upside down while still playing and stuff. i couldn't hear him playing the solo on that song so well since the bass kinda drowned it out, but i could on all the other songs he played. then he played a song i didn't recognize but it was awesome and i hope i can find out what it was. he did a lot of jam-sounding stuff in that second song and at one point he even started playing the riff to purple haze and we were all like YEEEEEAH and then ummm i think he played a song apparently called the embalmer or something? that's what someone on youtube said it was called. it was funny he would be like shredding and playing heavy metal and then he'd stop for a second and this goofy voice would come on saying THE EMBALMER. i think after that he played we can rebuild him and i was like YEEEEEEEEES and he played it so awesome ;_; ffff it was so cool guhhh. after that i'm not sure, i kinda forgot, it might have been another song i didn't recognize too well but it might have been redeem team? guh i dunno i already forgot the general order of the setlist. i think then at some point he played gory head stump, which was awesome, and i don't really remember what happened after that but i think he played what sounded like something off elephant man's alarm clock, i wasn't sure which exact song though.

at some point he stopped playing and started doing the whole nunchuks/robot dance/toy trading routine. it was so awesome fhaosdjs he took out a nunchuk and started doing stunts with it and then he put on two of those huge foam glove things you can get at like sports games and did the robot, which was one of the awesomest things i had ever seen in my life. when he started doing the robot, all these robot sounds came out of the amp and he moved perfectly in sync with them aaah it was so cool ;_; so then he did the robot for a while and then he took off his gloves and threw them at these funny little statues that were on top of the amps to knock them down. he knocked the first one down, and p-sticks, his technician dude, came and set it back up, but not before he threw his other glove at the other one. it didn't knock that one down, however! so then he KARATE KICKED it off the amp. it was amazing. then like uh... parade music started playing and he proceeded to march around back and forth across the stage to it argh it was hilarious. then after he had done that for a little he got out a huge bag of toys and started handing them out to people in the front of the audience. when he got to the side of the venue i was on i gave him a picture i drew of him and he took it and looked at it and gave a decisive NOD OF APPROVAL. then he gave me a little uh.. doll toy thing how do i describe this fksdfj and he gave my friend a toy robot. i asked my friend if he wanted to trade but he refused but hey, it's still a toy from buckethead which is AWESOME. my other friend didn't get a toy though, haha ;-;

and wouldn't you know it right after he was done with that he played dundundun JORDAN. it was.... words cannot describe how awesome it was. i forget what he played after that, but at some point, everything went silent, no bass or drum tracks, and he started to play... the star wars theme. that was also mondo. i don't remember what he played after that, but some time later he played soothsayer. it was so awesome ;-; it was neat how he improvised a lot with the riffs and the solo and stuff too. actually it was neat how he did that with almost all the songs he played, haha. aaaand then to wrap it all up he finished the show with welcome to bucketheadland.

then we went home happy and each with a tshirt (and one of my friends and i got the same shirt, and funny enough we both ended up wearing it today hahaha) and a new album (well, i did) and my friends are now fans. whooo

ughhhsdfisdif though buckethead he is so goddamned cool ;____; aaah

so uh, tl;dr (which it VERY likely is hahaha), the buckethead concert was juuuust about the best thing ever.
